dada

Dada

the child's voice was nothing but a hoarse whisper
now, the fruit flavor of these tarts is a deliciously nuanced sweet-sour
before the sun set something did happen

he saw trees, lawns, walks twisting up the hillsides, steps cut in the stone,
he saw fountains, swimming pools, tennis courts – and not a sign of life
sometime along toward daylight i went to sleep

((insert CHORUS))

the boys in our class came over and wanted to know what was going on
never told brother the other dream
the living room was packed with about two dozen guests seated on chairs placed against the walls

if you have anything to say, my man, you better say it
the two young ladies were summoned from the shrubbery where this conversation passed
that should have ended the greek boy's turn at being the jackass

((CHORUS))

but there was one who did not fear him: there was one prepared to enter that circle
she said nothing, but she knew it was true
he stuttered to a halt

angry as i was, all we all were, i was tempted to laugh when he opened his mouth
he spoke quite rationally to me
she screamed for him to help her, to save the baby

Is there a way to adjust the font on this blog? The humongous letters make the lines break too early in this song and I can't find any buttons to repair it.

i have been trying to fix it. the thing is the lines are really, really long on this song. i think the words will just kind of flow all over the music when/if it ever gets music.
